Fort Worth, Texas, December 26, 2009 – “Bowl Week” for the seventh annual post-season collegiate football game in the “City of Cowboys and Culture” begins here Saturday with the arrival of the United States Air Force Academy as the Falcons will also hold their first of four practices at Kennedale High School. The Air Force will be competing in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl for the third-straight year as the 2009 game at Amon G. Carter Stadium is a rematch of the 2008 contest where the University of Houston defeated the Falcons 34-28 before a record crowd of 41,127. Houston, which is also competing in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl for the third-time after losing the 2005 game to Kansas, will arrive here Sunday in time for the “Team Welcome Party” at the world famous Billy Bob’s in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. The Cougars’ first of two practices at Southlake Carroll Senior High School with be Monday.
