Air Force Practice, Houston Arrival & Billy Bob's Welcome

Fort Worth, Texas, December 27, 2009 – With the “Team Welcome Party” at the world famous Billy Bob’s in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards concluding activities here Sunday evening, the school participating in the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl continued their preparations for Thursday’s seventh annual post-season football game.  While the United States Air Force Academy will be holding its second of four practices at Kennedale High School Sunday, the University of Houston will stage a morning training session on its campus before busing in the afternoon to the “City of Cowboys and Culture” for Sunday evening’s “Team Welcome Party”.  The Cougars’ first of two formal practices in the metroplex Monday will be held at Southlake Carroll Senior High School.  Pictured are 2008 BHAFB MVPs Jared Tew (left) of Air Force and Bryce Beall of Houston.
