Tickets for the 2011 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl will go on sale Thursday, Sept. 1 at 12:01 a.m. (CT). The ninth annual postseason collegiate football game will be played Friday, Dec. 30 with an 11:00 a.m. kickoff at Gerald J. Ford Stadium on the campus of SMU. The game is being played in Dallas for the second consecutive year due to continued renovations at Fort Worth’s Amon G. Carter Stadium. From September 1 through November 14, the cost of public stadium seating will be $50 per seat for the 2011 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl. From November 15 through the December 30 kickoff, the cost per seat will be $60. The bowl is also selling a limited number of premium club seats for $150 per ticket located in Ford Stadium’s indoor club section on the west side of the stadium. Continue reading →
