The Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl has announced the start of a new program for the 2012 bowl game, the “Purple Heart Campaign”. The campaign will take place in conjunction with the bowl game’s 10th anniversary celebration and return to Amon G. Carter Stadium. The Purple Heart Campaign is an exclusive, one-time offer for 2012 TCU season ticket and suite holders, in which Horned Frog football fans are able to purchase their same TCU season tickets for the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl. A portion of proceeds from each Purple Heart Campaign ticket purchased will be donated to the TCU ROTC programs.

The Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl and the American Red Cross have partnered together for the 2012 postseason bowl game. The American Red Cross will serve as one of the official charity partners for the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl, an NCAA bowl game dedicated to paying tribute to the men and women of the U.S. armed forces.
