Falcons Will Sport New Look in Fort Worth

Fashion has become one of the most interesting and anticipated elements of college sports the past couple of seasons and it is again at the forefront when Air Force faces off against Rice in the December 29 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl.
For the Falcons, that means wearing flashy new uniforms and helmets. While Air Force uniforms and helmets have always had a meaning, the Falcon "look" for their fourth appearance in the Armed Forces Bowl features a black uniform jersey with either "B-2 SPIRIT" or "F-22 RAPTOR" positioned across the shoulder pads on the back where the player’s last name generally goes.
The pattern on the helmet and down the uniform is actually a series of stealth bombers arranged to create a unique and eye-catching effect. The Air Force helmet features the traditional Falcon Blue lightning bolt with silver accents atop the repeating pattern of bombers. The black jersey also takes advantage of blue numerals, outlining them with silver piping.
