The Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl is proud to partner with the USO and Dallas/Fort Worth’s Welcome Home a Hero program to honor service men and women returning from overseas. Each year during bowl week players, cheerleaders and mascots from the bowl’s competing teams join us at the airport to welcome home troops from an incoming flight. 

 The bowl also coordinates Welcome Home a Hero events throughout the year for fans in the DFW metroplex, as well as the bowl’s volunteers, sponsors, Board and Executive Council, to have the opportunity to pay tribute to those returning from overseas.
