2019 Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl
Amon G. Carter Stadium - Date to be announced
The Only Way to Honor Our Veterans.
The Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl honors and recognizes the enormous sacrifices that America’s military personnel have made on the battlefield. Fittingly, the championship trophy is forged from combat-tested metal and the steel from all five branches of the United States Armed Forces. The trophy stands as a testament to the courage and fortitude of our brothers and sisters in arms. The battlefield is in its DNA and its parts are all decommissioned after service.
Representing strength, honor, heroism and sacrifice, the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl Trophy is an iconic symbol befitting those who answer the call of duty. We are proud to honor our champion with such a worthy piece of hardware.
2018 Lockheed Martin Trophy Tour
For the fourth year in a row, the Armed Forces Bowl trophy hit the open road to visit Lockheed Martin sites across the country. The 2018 roadshow stretched from Washington to Florida, stopping at U.S. military bases and each of our Business Areas. The fourth annual trophy roadshow made stops in Woodland, WA, Troy and Huntsville, AL, Orlando, FL, Milwalkee, WI and Greenville, SC. The tour culminated in a final march back to Fort Worth, Texas, in time for the Saturday, Dec. 22, bowl game.
“Talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Joe LaMarca, vice president, Communications, for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. “Not only did thousands of our employees get to see and touch the trophy the last few months, but we were able to offer the opportunity to our service members as well. They’re what this game is about, and I’m glad we could send the trophy out on another tour this year.”
